2018 Toyota Estima – Interior and Exterior Design
The most notable changes in the 2018 Toyota Estima is the space inside. Fans know that the Estima is the second largest minivan in Toyota’s arsenal. The newest version will add a bit more leg room, assuring that this will indeed provide the greatest comfort. To achieve this, the makers of the car expanded the wheelbase to allow for more room inside the car.
Deviating from the traditional car dashboard design, the Estima will feature a cockpit dashboard design instead. The most likely reason for this is the Estima’s new entertainment features and updated technology.
For the exterior, there are some major changes going on for the trim of all 2018 Toyota Estima models. It has redesigned exterior which is suited for better aerodynamics. Also, the driving experience is improved.
Other changes include improved LED daytime running lights, etched guard, and mist lights. If one look closely, they can see that the shape of the wheels underwent a design change as well.

Some people think that minivans have poor fuel economy, but the Estima’s hybrid powertrain is a force to be reckoned with. Using a combination of petrol engine and two electric motors it has about 190 hp. The powertrain combines 2.4 liters petrol engine with 13 kW electric motor on the front wheels and 18 kW electric motor on the rear axle. It has a fuel economy of about 47 mpg in combined drive.
In terms of speed, the 2018 Toyota Estima will not wow us with any significant improvements. It has a top speed of 115 mph. From the 0-60 mph, it speeds up in 11 seconds.
