The styling is also completely new. This sedan now follows the brand’s new design language but also spices things for a bit with some fancy details. For example, the famous spindle grille comes with a new pattern design. According to the company, this grille features more than 5000 surfaces, which means a massive computer-aided design.
On the inside, the cabin is also completely new. New styling, new materials and new cluster characterized by a beautiful combination of digital and analog gauges. The overall impression is pretty amazing, so we believe that the 2019 Lexus LS 500h will be very successful.
2019 Lexus LS 500h gets Wald aftermarket version
Japanese are known for their unique way of tuning. There are numerous tuning companies in this country and one of them is Wald International. With so many amazing tuning projects behind, they have decided to make some modifications to cars from Toyota’s luxury brand. They have chosen two models, LC and LS. Speaking of LS, in particular, its hybrid version was the actual choice. For this occasion, Wald prepared various modifications. Naturally, pretty much all of them are visual nature. The 2019 Lexus LS 500h tuned by Wald come with a completely new body kit. This includes an FRP-made front apron, new bumpers, side skirts, and trunk lid spoiler, as well as new rims. Additionally, there are some new standard features inside.
2019 Lexus LS 500h powertrain
In order to get better fuel economy and overall efficiency, the company dropped large V8 engines in favor of more efficient V6 units. So, this sedan now comes in three variants, all powered by V6 units. Two of them are gasoline, while one comes with a hybrid design, called LS 500h. It combines a famous 3.5-liter gasoline engine with a new electric motor, making a combined output of 354 horsepower.
Besides amazing performances, this version also offers great fuel economy. Compared to standard gasoline models, it features a 5-mpg better result. So, expect around 25 miles per gallon in the city, and up to 33 on a highway. Transmission is a new 10-speed automatic, a version designed especially for the hybrid powertrain.

The 2019 Lexus LS 500h is about to come in usual time, somewhere late in the year. Price should remain pretty much the same, which means 110.000 dollars for the base model.
