The company’s flagship sedan is about to get a completely new version, which should come as 2019 Toyota Avalon. According to latest reports, the new model will have a premiere at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show. Most of the car experts believe that this redesign is crucial for the model’s future if we consider recent slow sales. With new design and features, we could expect that the famous sedan will consolidate itself on the market. To remind you, this mode is in production for about 22 years.

It came in 1995, as a replacement for the Cressida. The current model is in the fourth generation. It came in 2012 and received one refresh two years ago. For the next generation, we don’t expect some radical changes. The 2019 Avalon will keep the same base formula, but we expect to see improvements in terms of chassis, engine, styling, interior design etc.

You definitely should not expect something special with the new styling. The 2019 Toyota Avalon is about to keep a similar shape. Of course, there is a whole bunch of new details to come. It will adopt brand’s new design language. So, should see a similar front end as on the new Camry, which came last year. This includes new headlights, a large gaping grille, and probably a clamshell hood.

When it comes to the interior design, 2019 Avalon will come with some smaller improvement in terms of space. Although the same wheelbase, it will come with a little bit better use of space that will provide more legroom. In terms of styling, expect a new dashboard layout.
